Applying for membership is easy! You can apply online, visit any of our branch locations, or apply by mail.
Eligibility
- Any and all persons who live, regularly work, currently attend school, or currently worship in Contra Costa, Solano, or Alameda counties, as well as any and all businesses, corporations, and other legal entities in those counties.
- Persons within the immediate family or household of a member.
- The surviving persons within the immediate family of a deceased member.
- Persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from any of the groups listed herein.
- Corporate or other legal entities listed herein.
- Organizations of such persons listed herein.

Application Processing Times
Membership applications are processed Monday through Friday, 8am to 4 pm (3pm for in-branch applications). Applications submitted during the evenings, weekends, or holidays, will be processed the next business day. For online account opening, expect an average two-business day response. For account opening at one of our local branches, expect an average of 20 minutes to establish your new membership.

Credit check required. This “soft inquiry” will not affect your credit score. NOTE: Be sure your credit account is not frozen prior to submitting your application for membership or your application will be automatically denied.

- Be sure to read the information below about our Convenience Package
- Open the PDF and complete the form
- Print your completed Membership Application
- Sign where indicated (Signature required for all persons named on the account)
- Mail the following items to the address below:
- Completed and signed Membership Application
- Required initial deposit(s) for all new accounts requested
- Photocopy of a government-issued photo ID for each account signer
- Photocopy of your employer ID or other proof of membership eligibility.
