Skip a Payment is now Do It Yourself through Home Banking.

Our Skip-a-Payment program gives you just what you need – the option to skip your next 1st Nor Cal qualifying loan payment to free up valuable funds for other things. Whew! A little breathing room never felt so good.

Members can now process their own Skip a Payment (skip) for qualifying loans* within Home Banking!

Members can skip twice a year (Jan-Dec) and six times over the lifetime of the loan. Please note that members cannot skip two consecutive payments in a row (i.e. if you skip April’s payment, you can’t skip May’s payment too.) The member would need to wait 60 days from their first skip for the year to make another skip request.

Simply click the gear icon next to your loan in Home Banking to see if your loan is eligible* and to start the request. A $25 fee will be charged for each skip and the fee can be taken out of your Shares, Checking or Money Market accounts.

*All payment skip(s) are subject to approval. Skip-a-Payment request will not be processed without the $25 fee for each skip payment requested. Your loan(s) must have at least six (6) payments since the last add-on or refinance, and may be subject to other criteria. The offer is not valid for mortgage loans, VISA®, or any loans with delinquency within the past six (6) months. Excludes 72 and 84 month loans. Members can skip two (2) times a year (January-December) and six (6) times during the term of any one (1) eligible loan. Members cannot skip two (2) consecutive payments in a row.
